There’s no exact amount and depends on the sweetener used as they vary greatly. Start with 2-3 tbsp and add it to the mixture to taste until it’s sweetened to your liking.

I will be using powder sugar-free sweetener. How much is needed for this recipe?

I added 4 tablespoons of honey and they were barly sweet. I think 5 would be enough. Did like it thou.

I added more maple syrup (about 1/3 C) and some extra honey at the end when stirring, which seemed to help the mixture hold together. Also added about 1/3 C unsweetened coconut. They’re satisfying, but not overly sweet.

So grateful you recommended the chocolate chips, it really does make these 10x better. While making them I did manage to dump pumpkin puree all over my floors when I literally just had a tile cleaning last week, but I just ate a handful of chocolate chips to stop the tears haha. Thanks for the healthy treat!
