Made this tonight because I needed some comfort food (winter cold season got me) and my brother and husband devoured it too. I added some diced baked sweet potato and steamed kale before serving with some short grain brown rice. We will be adding it to our regular rotation!!

I had a little bit of this tasty dahl leftover which had thickened so put a couple of tablespoons with some diced smoked tofu in some ready-made puff pastry, folding into little parcels and cooked in oven. They were really nice

However, I found that the dal needed and additional 15 minutes to cook. Also, the soup was too thick for my liking. I added 2 cups of extra broth and some water.

I made this yesterday as part of my lunch prep for the week. This is an easy, quick recipe with a huge flavor! 

I used the full-fat coconut milk for a more creamy meal and it didn’t change the macros all that much.  Definitely worth it.

Hi, sauté the onion etc for 3-4 minutes then add the remaining ingredients and cook on high for 5 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure and open. Season if needed. Enjoy.
